Best of Chongqing
Also known as the Little Chongqing, Ciqikou is known for its excellent production of porcelain during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Due to its strategic location on the bank of the Jialing River, its economy flourished as a busy port during its heyday.
Heading into Second Factory Wenchuang Park, you will notice the atmosphere of a former printing factory transformed into an artistic park with its industrial-age façade, hip cafés and graffiti walls.
We then continue into Huang Yiping Graffiti Art Street with its bright-colored streets. The graffiti was made by the students from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute.
Finally, we head to the core tourism area of Chongqing Hongyadong Folk Customs Area. Bayu-styled architecture dominates the landscape. As you walk through the old city street with the confluence of the two rivers, you will get a feel of the Bayu culture.
