Cambodia is hot all year round and the best time to visit is during the dry season, which runs from November to April. It starts to get wetter in May and the wettest months are September and October. It is still possible to visit during this time as rain usually falls as short sharp storms. November is a fantastic month to visit Cambodia as it is very green after the rainy season and the lakes and rivers are full of water.

Located next to the Royal Gardens and only moments away from the temples, the Victoria Angkor is a superb French Colonial style hotel and the perfect base for temple exploration in Cambodia's fascinating town of Siem Reap.
The Victoria Angkor celebrates a grand moment in European colonial history with the discovery of the temples of Angkor. Maps of Cambodia, photographs of the period and posters proclaiming exhibits from Angkor in Europe line the walls of the hotel and to truly enhance the feeling of nostalgia for a bygone era, a 1931 Citroen is on hand for an evening spin. The building’s graceful colonial architecture provides a sense of peaceful tranquillity and the hotel has been designed to be in total harmony with its natural surroundings.
The ground floor Superior Rooms and upper floor Deluxe Rooms at the Victoria Angkor Hotel are very generously sized and tastefully decorated. There are also ten luxurious suites with spacious sitting rooms featuring special ‘colonial’ themes from different parts of the world.
The hotel has a fantastic large swimming pool in landscaped tropical gardens as well as a separate children's pool and the serene spa offers Khmer and western treatments. Dining options abound, with French, International and Khmer cuisines all available. Le Jardin D'Aspara offers a unique al fresco dining experience, with Cambodian, Asian and international food stalls and live Khmer music performances.
The Victoria Angkor Hotel has 120 Rooms and 10 Suites all designed with beautiful wooden floors, stylish furniture, exclusive fabrics and original decorative artefacts. The Superior Rooms are on the ground floor, Deluxe Rooms on the upper floors and all have private balconies overlooking the tropical gardens and swimming pool. The decadent pool-view and garden-view suites are all different in design and have spacious sitting areas.
Children are made very welcome at The Victoria Angkor Hotel where interconnecting rooms are available and extra beds and cots can be arranged on request. Children will enjoy the Kids Club, kids pool and the library with books, DVDs and board games. For parents wanting an evening to themselves, babysitting is also available.
The Victoria Angkor Hotel offers a range of dining options from French gastronomy to traditional Khmer dishes in its two restaurants, L'Escale and Bistrot De Siem Reap.
