Zhiwa Ling Ascent is the sister property of Zhiwaling in Paro but boasts its own charm, characteristics and very different style. The hotel is located on the hill, nestled in verdant woodland giving the property a real sense of calm and tranquility.
The hotel is also situated close to the Hospitality School where most of the friendly staff come from; a positive initiative to help support the local Bhutanese people.
The building has an impressive facade and oozes a real Scandanavian feel with a real minimalist wooden feel. The rooms are relatively basic but comfotable and have all the amenities you'd need.
One highlight of Zhiwa Ling Ascent are the panaromic views of the valley from the hotel's roof. The views really will take your breath away, they are beautiful. Enjoy your meals out here should you wish, there are also comfortable chairs for you to go and take in the views and simply relax.
The restaurant has lovely high ceilings and fantastic natural light, but the best thing is the food. Simply divine, meticulsouly planned the team can cook up a mix of delicious local delicacies combined with international favourites.

The excellent Kiwi-helmed restaurant here has curried the favor of the king and court. So there's a solid chance you could rub shoulders with royalty, but you'll leave more than satisfied regardless!
