This itinerary is best done between October and April as temperatures are cooler in Argentina and Southern Brazil during the winter months (June to September). If travelling over Christmas/New Year or over Carnival, be sure to book as far in advance as possible, as space at this time is very restricted.

Days 1-3: Buenos Aires
Welcome to Buenos Aires – a city fuelled by fine wine, mouth-watering cuisine and the heady tango rhythm. Set in a former aristocratic palace in the heart of the refined Recoleta district, your base for the next two nights is the luxurious Palacio Duahu. Let us show you the city’s secrets focussing on exactly what interests you most. Our expert local guide will take you on a privately curated tour of this diverse city. Whether you want to tantalise your taste buds at the best foodie haunts, sip fine vintages with a master sommelier or discover the city’s evolving art scene from contemporary galleries to vibrant street art, we know the places to be. Finish your day with the hottest ticket in town. Behind a closed door in the uber stylish Faena Hotel, the city’s best tango show unfolds. Rojo Tango puts a contemporary cabaret twist on Argentina’s seductive national dance. Highly skilled dancers and a dazzling live orchestra come together in a glamorous display of romance and melodrama. There’s no better way to succumb to the fiery passion of this Latino city.

Days 3-6: Mendoza Wine Region
Argentina is one of the most prominent New World wine producers, and you’re about to discover the magic of this industry in all its glory. Fly to Mendoza, where you’ll be met and transferred to the stylish Vines Resort & Spa. Delve deep into the varied vineyards of the region with a full-day private tour of the Lujan de Cuyo wineries. Taking in three different wineries that range from long-standing bodegas that have been run by the same family for generations to newer and really dynamic operations that use the latest modern technology, you’ll be fully immersed in Argentina’s continually evolving wine industry. The perfect way to complement these fine wine tastings is of course a gourmet lunch. Once you reach the final winery, we’ll arrange a spread of delicious Argentine fare looking out over the vines, matched with the sommelier’s perfect pairings. Back at the hotel, tranquillity awaits. Unwind with a drink on your roof terrace or take a dip in the plunge pool. Don't forget to try the fabulous Siete Fuegos restaurant, where Francis Mallman cooks up a storm on their seven outdoor fires which contribute to the rustic cooking techniques giving the food its flair.
Accommodation: The Vines Resort & Spa (3 nights)

Days 6-8: Iguassu
Get ready to have your senses awakened by the thundering flow of Iguazu Falls. After a morning flight, we’ll transfer you across the border to your hotel on the Brazilian side of the falls. Located right within the national park, Belmond Hotel das Cataratas is the stand-out property in the area. Immerse yourself in the tropical grounds of this colonial-style mansion and savour a glass of wine or refreshing cocktail on the patio. Once the visitors disperse the falls for the evening, guests at Das Cataratas have unrivalled access to the national park on the Brazilian side. Soak up the spray of this impressive natural wonder without the crowds and revel in the unique sense of calm. The following day, it’s the Argentine side’s turn to lure you in. With about 80% of the falls on this side of the border, it’s fair to say they put on quite a show. Wander the suspended walkways which wind their way around the national park, bringing you within touching distance of the water. Marvel at the utterly mesmerising Devil’s Throat, where several cascades join together to create a deafening display of activity. On your final morning at the falls, take to the skies in a helicopter for an unbeatable bucket list moment. Only from above can you truly gauge the epic scale of this enormous wall of water.
Accommodation: Belmond Hotel das Cataratas (2 nights)

Days 8-10: Rio de Janeiro
From one fiery and passionate Latin American country to another, today you leave Argentina behind and fly to Rio de Janeiro. A city of seduction brought alive through the beat of the samba, it’s impossible not to fall for Rio’s charm. Your home for the next two nights will be the iconic Belmond Copacabana Palace. Located right on Rio’s most famous beach, this is the city’s landmark hotel. Behind its famous art deco exterior is a sanctum of old-world allure, in which legendary service draws the great and the good. The highlight of your stay is sure to be setting sail off the coast in a luxury boat and cruising around the many bays of this coastal city. Soak up the incredible skyline from the water and revel in a unique perspective on some of the city’s major highlights, including Sugarloaf Mountain. Finishing up at the Cagarras Islands with views over to Ipanema Beach, you’ll be able to swim and snorkel in the water while the crew prepares a classic Brazilian barbeque served up with a cold Brahma beer. We’ll also include a guided tour of the city with one of our expert local guides, where you’ll unlock secrets of Rio known only to a few.
Accommodation: Belmond Copacabana Palace (2 nights)

Days 10-14: Florianopolis
What better way to finish your adventure than with four nights at one of Brazil’s most exclusive beach hideaways? Fly to Florianopolis, where you’ll be met and transferred to the spellbinding Ponta dos Ganchos. Tucked away on a forested peninsula with views of the emerald ocean and its own sandy cove on which to unwind, you’ve arrived in paradise, Latino-style. Lean into the sumptuous luxury of your private villa, marvel at the sea views from your deck and make a splash in your very own plunge pool. We wouldn’t blame you if you scarcely left the villa for four days! That said, we don’t think you’ll be able to resist the sea. Swim, snorkel or dive to your heart’s content. Borrow a kayak and paddle over to a nearby island for a picnic lunch, or head out on a sunset boat trip along with freshly shucked oysters and a glass of fizz. The seafood here is as fresh as it comes and the team of chefs will rustle up masterpieces for you in the most relaxed settings. If you have any space left after the ten-course breakfast tasting menu, you’ll want to tuck into some freshly caught shrimps barbecued on the beach!
