Hotel das Cataratas, A Belmond Hotel is a grand colonial-style hotel, a 2-minute stroll away from the awe-inspiring Iguassu Falls and the only hotel in the Brazilian National Park. Choose from one of 193 colourful rooms and 15 suites that combine original, local artwork with all the usual modern touches one would expect in a luxury hotel. There are two restaurants, the Ipe Bar & Grill alongside the pool and the Restaurant Itapu both serving delicious local and international cuisine.
Guests at the hotel enjoy exclusive access to the 275 falls (depending on the time of year) that are over 3km wide and 80m high and lie at the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay. Although the falls are mostly in Argentina, the views from the Brazilian side are all encompassing and spectacular. Stroll along the catwalks and marvel at the power and splendour of these vast waterfalls twice the size of Niagara, go on a nature expedition with one of the hotel's in-house biologists or see it all from the sky on one of their helicopter tours.

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas is located just a short stroll from the Iguassu Waterfalls, in the Iguassu National Park. Found in the Western extremities of Paraná, in the Iguassu River Basin, this is the last extensive area of Atlantic Rainforest in the South of Brazil.
The Foz do Iguassu International Airport is located on the highway which provides access to the Iguassu Falls (BR469), 15 kilometers from the falls and is the nearest airport to Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. The Foz do Iguassu can be accessed via Rio de Janeiro or San Paulo.
