Children of the wilderness camp out
Luangwa Valley, Zambia
Brave the wilderness and venture out into the bush with Kaingo Camp's children of the wilderness camp out experience. Sleep under the stars near a waterhole and encounter its nocturnal visitors during your exhilarating overnight stay.
Families with children aged 12 and over are invited to spend a night in the wilderness with this special programme from Kaingo Camp. Enjoy a game drive followed by a guided nature walk to reach your camp for the evening - a traditional boma-style area with mosquito nets to sleep under. Sit around the fire and enjoy a traditional Zambian dinner as you take in your surroundings and make yourself at home in the wilderness.
This open-air camp offers fantastic views of the remote Kapanda waterhole, which welcomes a huge variety of wildlife to its banks. Savour after-dinner coffee while you listen to tales of bush folklore, and make sure to keep your eyes peeled - you will have the opportunity to spot elephant, lion, leopard and hyena, amongst many others.
The following morning take a walk through the bush as it awakens, and enjoy a light bush breakfast before heading back to the main camp.
