One of Vail's finest hotels, the Ritz Carlton is built in the Bavarian architectural style, with all the facilities one would expect from a 5* resort. A short distance from the Eagle Bahn Gondola, it is the ideal base from which to explore one of the world's greatest ski resorts.
There are fourty six condos or residences with two, three, four or five bedrooms which are spacious and decorated in typical mountain style, with balconies looking out over the village and mountain. They all have fully equipped modern kitchens everything one needs for an independent stay. The hotel operates a grocery stocking service which can be organised before arrival, and during the stay. They are fitted out with marble bathrooms with separate soaking tubs and walk-in showers, flat screen TVs and iPod docking stations.
The amenities at the Ritz Carlton are impressive. There is a large, year-round outdoor pool; a modern, fully equipped fitness centre; cosy library and an elegant, lodge-style great room with a bar and fireplace. The large outdoor swimming pool has two Jacuzzis and a beverage service. There is a Spa with two treatment rooms, and a teen room with pool table, air hockey, Wii and foosball.
When in resort guests can enjoy the legendary Ritz Carlton service. There's a dedicated concierge who can make restaurant reservations and spa appointments, and arrange day trips at your request. There is an on-site ski and boot storage and all equipment can be rented from the resort's ski shop.
When to visit
The hot tubs are located in a position to allow you to just sit back and watch the skiers coming down the Simba and Safari runs.
