Located on 3,500 acres of untamed private ranch land, The Lodge at Blue Sky, part of the Auberge Resorts Collection, offers endless opportunity for outdoor adventure and relaxation for families and couples a like.
Surrounded by the Wasatch and Uintas mountain ranges, The Lodge at Blue Sky’s stunning architectural design takes advantage of inspiring Western views. All rooms and suites have picture windows and outdoor space, the restaurants ingredients are sourced from the estate and there are endless activities from horse-riding to heli-fishing on offer.
The Lodge caters for both families and couples with an array of adventures and amenities for all ages. While the vast expanse of ranch land brings with it the obvious draw of hiking, fishing, mountain biking and horse riding, there is also a luxurious spa offering both indulgent treatments for the body or mindfulness pursuits for the soul for those looking to really relax. For our younger guests, exciting adventures from grooming horses and looking after the farm animals to geo-catching and wilderness survival are available as part of the ‘Little Vaqueros Club.
When it comes to food, The Dining Room at Blue Sky serves the freshest mountain cuisine from the estate, with organic meat, fish and vegetables. For whiskey fans, the High West Distillery offers the opportunity to learn about the whisky making process from grain-milling and mashing through to distilling and aging. At the end of the tour you can even indulge in some whisky tastings. Guests can also enjoy laid-back Western country cuisine at the High West’s restaurant, The Refectory.
The Lodge at Blue Sky offers an exciting new property that can be enjoyed as a stand-alone stay, or as part of a wider itinerary with Utah’s national parks, or connected with Grand Teton and Yellowstone for those on a wider Western holiday itinerary.
Accommodation
The Lodge at Blue Sky boasts 46 rooms and suites all designed with understated elegance and organic architecture with three distinct styles: Sky, Earth and Creek. The rooms are primarily wood, stone and glass so that they blend harmoniously in with the landscape to create a natural haven. All are spacious with huge windows and luxurious amenities, furnished in understated, minimalist style.
Childcare
The Lodge is geared up for families of all ages. The Little Vaqueros Club for children aged 4 - 12 years old, an inspiring programme for younger guests with daily themed excursions such as horse riding and care, wilderness survival, yoga and treasure hunts. The activities are specifically tailored to their age groups and designed to engage with animals and connect them with nature. Baby-sitting is also available on request.
Facilities
Facilities include the Edge Spa, offering indulgent treatments and mindfulness experiences. There is a Dining Room with a focus on organic, seasonal produce, a private dining room, wine room and a whiskey distillery which offers tours and tastings.
Activities
The Lodge at Blue Sky has plenty to offer to its guests. The activities available include horse riding, horsemanship lessons, fly fishing, hiking, sporting clays, mountain biking, helicopter adventures and yoga and meditation. During the winter months guests can enjoy skiing, snowboarding, dog sledding and snow shoeing.
