Standing at 3,880 meters above sea level by the foot of the Xiannairi peak, Chonggu is a relatively small temple offering picturesque views of the surrounding meadows, valleys and snow mountains in the distance. Yading Nature Reserve is also famous for its postcard-perfect lakes. Hidden behind a small grove is the tranquil Pearl Lake with its dark green water.
