The Temple House Hotel

Walking through the restored, historic Qing Dynasty building which serves as a gateway into the hotel's traditional courtyard, you would be forgiven for thinking you were stepping back in time as you turn off the busy streets of Chengdu. The mood soon changes as you walk into the super slick lobby and are greeted by the attentive staff with their wonderful 'at home' service. The entire complex has been carefully designed to sympathetically combine the old and new of Chengdu.

The 100 rooms and suites have a beautiful sleek design with an open plan layout and floor to ceiling windows giving a wonderful spacious feeling from the lead in rooms. All rooms come equipped with generous bathrooms and walk in rain showers and the larger suites come with their own private balconies.

The Temple House has three individual restaurants that all feel like independent venues offering a range of delicious cuisines including Western and Asian at Temple Cafe, Italian at Tivano and vegetarian fare at the Teahouse. Each outlet is beautifully and individually designed reflecting the boutique nature of property.
