Restored from a former ancient villa built in 1930 by Liu Geng Gan, whom was the richest person in Nanxun, the property had been overhauled by French designer Thomas Dariel. Nanxun Blossom Hill is dotted with South Chinese gardens in the Hidden Book Town of Nanxun.
Each of the 26 rooms are stylishly decorated with hints of ocean blue hues, latticework, bamboo weaving, Lazy Susan coffee tables and paintings illustrating the pastoral lifestyle of Nanxun.
The gorgeous restaurant incorporates geometrical elements of blue and red silk strips, serving both Western and Chinese food.
When to visit
Fengjing Water Town
We will visit the Fengjing water town with its tiny bridges, sparkling streams, and peaceful families. Afterwards, visit the Museum of the Culture Revolution.
Nanxun Water Town
Make a trip to Nanxun. Walking along the canals of the old town, one will not see enormous herds of tourists, but instead, locals washing clothes, sipping tea or playing cards beside the water.
Shaoxing Water Town
Visit the former residence of Lu Xun, enjoy a traditional wupeng boat ride across the canals and visit the Keyan Scenic Areas.
Wuzhen Water Town
Soak in the romantic ambience from Wuzhen's ancient docks, waterside pavilions and corridors from this beautifully preserved water town dating back to the late Qing dynasty period.
