    The Courtyards of Ancient Marbella - Walking Tour

     

    Away from the bustling modern city, discover the attractions of the old enclave that preserves the mark of the past. The charm of Old Marbella retains the traces of the medieval city, in the maze of serene and narrow passages and whitewashed houses adorned with a multitude of vases of flowers. Of the Muslim heritage, the Alcazaba stands out, the fort built in the 10th century by a caliph of Cordoba to control this part of the Mediterranean coast. Intoxicate yourself with the aromas of fragrant and abundant orange trees creating a fusion between nature and architecture, perceptible throughout the historic center.

     

    Sunset Elegance on the Costa del Sol

     

    Step aboard the exquisitely a restored 1966 boat and experience the timeless glamour of the Costa del Sol at sunset. Once a jewel of the French Riviera, this rare classic yacht enchants with its elegant lines, noble wood interiors, and vintage décor, transporting you back to the sophistication and charm of the 1960s.     Gibraltar Promontory and St. Michael's Caves

     

    Gibraltar is a headland and British overseas territory on the south coast of Spain. The site is dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, made of limestone and 426 m above sea level. First colonized by the Moors in the Middle Ages and then governed by the Spanish, the territory was ceded to the British in 1713. In the layers of fortifications, there are remains of a 14th century Moorish castle and the Great Siege Tunnels, excavated in the 18th century and expanded in World War II. Come and discover the fascinating caves of S. Miguel, which are authentic natural treasures!

    Be inspired by the landscapes of the natural park and discover the Roman Archaeological Site of Baelo Claudia and the picturesque, chic and bohemian hilltop town of Vejer de la Frontera. We will take a walk through the park that takes us to the top of the San Bartolomé Mountains, from where you can see the fabulous landscapes of the Bay of Bolonia, Morocco and also the Mediterranean coast. Once at the top, we will celebrate this feat with a light picnic mid-morning.

    Then, head down to visit the Roman archaeological site of Baelo Claudia. There you will learn about the origins, the main industries, the periods of prosperity and decadence of this city, which has traces of a port, a Roman theater, a market, a basilica, four temples, an aqueduct and several Roman houses. After the walk and visit to the archaeological site, you will be taken to lunch at a selected family restaurant with views of the Atlantic Ocean and the African continent. During the afternoon we invite you to discover Vejer and all its charm!

Andalucia has a Mediterranean climate, making it a year-round destination. In general you can usually rely on lovely weather or hot temperatures from April to early November. In Andalucia there are plenty of warm, sunny days, including during the winter months, although the best time to visit Seville is in the spring and autumn when temperatures are pleasant. During July and August it can be extremely hot and some days the temperature can reach 40°C.
