Relax in sumptuous home from home rooms and suites, elegantly and stylishly furnished for a 21st century lifestyle.
Savour authentic Italian cuisine created by a Michelin-star chef.
Built in 1822, La Palma was once at the heart of Capri’s social scene, welcoming artists, writers, poets, and musicians from all over the world. Now owned by the German hotel group, the Oetker Collection, the property has had a major facelift to create a sparkling new hotel ready to reclaim its heritage as the focus of the island’s social life. Italian craftsmen and artisans have retained the building’s heritage, while designers have softened the whitewashed walls with a palette of soft Mediterranean blues and greens. Bespoke lighting, plush rugs, upholstered furniture, and indoor palm trees add to the sophisticated but relaxed vibe.
La Palma has a total of 50 spacious rooms and suites, all with private balcony or terrace. Suites features a comfortable living area for a home away from home experience. Amenities include climate control, Wi-Fi, flatscreen TV, minibar, safety deposit box, ensuite bathroom with robes and hairdryer.
Under the capable watch of Michelin-star chef Gennaro Esposito, the hotel’s restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine which pays homage to Capri’s glamorous 1950s heyday. Along with the main restaurant, there is a rooftop restaurant and bar, Bianca featuring amazing views and a convivial atmosphere.
The rooftop also boasts a glamorous pool deck and there is a new beach club located on Capri’s southern coastline in Piccola Marina. Head to the beach club for leisurely lunches created by Esposito and a fashionable night scene. For more overt relaxation, the new spa includes three treatment rooms, a sauna, steam bath, ice shower and fitness centre.
