August is peak tourist season, many businesses close for two or three weeks. This is when most Italians go on holiday, about 70% of the population takes their vacation at the same time, therefore hardly any work gets done in Italy during that period and beaches can be extremely crowded.

This lovely hotel has a really special atmosphere - it really does feel you are a guest in a private residence. Positioned right on the bay, the hotel has stunning views. All of the rooms have sea views and they are classically decorated with parquet floors and light coloured walls.
The hotel has a private part of a public beach with sunloungers - the water is beautifully clear.
Guests staying at hotel can use the facilities of the Grand Hotel Timeo, so if you'd prefer to lie by the pool instead of the beach, this is possible.
This is a great option for couples or families alike.
