  • This property offers great value for families - children under 12 can stay free with their parents, under 5s are not charged for food and the Kids Club and babysitting are all arranged for you on a complimentary basis

  • There are plenty of delicious dining options here, from Alu where you can find  fresh and healthy Poke bowls, to Jala which showcases a fine Balinese menu, to Sundara which is just magical at night serving fresh seafood and fish.

  • We certainly suggest jumping up a few room categories here to at least a Deluxe Villa which has a private pool. You can also find the residence villas at the property which are perfect for larger groups and come with your own private butler.

  • There are three outdoor pools to choose from, however the main pool wins for us, with its infinity edge it blends with the beautiful bay beyond. Don't miss the beach though where there are extensive watersports including the Tropicsurf school

  • The spa here is jaw dropping in terms of the treatments availble, from immersive treatments involving soothing gongs and hydrating herbs to the state of the art Illume Room, we will leave you to discover what happens there!

Insider's View

The 'Ocean Opulence' spa treatment takes place down by the sea and is one of the most sublime spa experiences I have ever had.

Just a short stroll away, along the gorgeous beach, are lots of local little restaurants serving the best seafood on the whole island!

Make sure you head to the newly opened Sundara restaurant where you can enjoy exquisite food all day long. Their sushi platter had me coming back for more and more.

Why not wake up a little early and take on a few lengths of the lap pool. You will be grateful for this when you see the breakfast selection!

There are a huge number of complimentary watersports to get involved in, including hobie cat sailing, kayaking and windsurfing.

Instead of paying for late check out - book yourself a cabana at Sundara for the day. It costs $100 but you get a $60 credit to use at the restaurant.

Indulge in Bali's longest Brunch at the Sundara with live music on a Sunday.

Don’t let the kids miss out of the Balinese inspired kids club activities such as kite making.

Learn a new skill at the cooking class that takes you to the markets and back to resort to learn how to make a local dish.

Make sure to leave enough time to enjoy the buffet breakfast! You could spend hours tasting each culinary offering consisting of dishes from around the world.

The resort also offers a great range of activities for all agessuch as varying water sports, kids club, yoga classes, therapeutic spa treatments, and incredible restaurants, making the Four Seasons a great for families, couples, or friends alike.

Charlotte Loughlin (Staff)

This resort is styled as a Traditional Balinese Village and it does not disappoint. From the beautiful villas with traditional statues to the weekly activities that incorporate aspects of the Balinese culture. This resort is at the southern end of Jimbaran bay which gives the beach protection from large swells making it perfect for a leisurely swim or getting to grips with paddle boarding which you can use from the resort beach club. After your morning of adventure head to the beach side Sundara restaurant for some Asian infusion style dishes or head back up to the heart of the resort for a complimentary snack at the edge of the infinity pool overlooking the bay.

Charlotte Winter (Staff)

For guests looking for a hotel with excellent facilities, then the Four Seasons Jimbaran is a great choice. As well as two swimming pools, both with sea views, the hotel has an excellent spa, small gym and newly refurbished tennis court. The hotel caters extremely well to families as they offer children's menus, complimentary babysitting and plenty of children's activities, including Balinese dance lessons and junior cooking classes. The villas here are spacious and beautifully designed in the style of a traditional Balinese courtyard house, resulting in a particularly comfortable and memorable stay. The hotel is also a great option for couples and honeymooners!

Sarah Rowan (Staff)

The Four Seasons is a brilliant mix of being family friendly, with a fully functioning kids club, while still being a trendy and romantic spot for couples or friends. They have successfully created a beautiful hotel with something for everyone. The Sundara Restaurant and Pool Bar was a new addition to the hotel two years ago and has created a funky and lively spot by the impressive 50 meter lap pool to soak up the atmosphere of Jimbaran Bay, perhaps watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand from one of their 'sofa beds' or dining at their deliciously trendy beachfront restaurant. The gardens throughout the resort are exquisite and it is a delight to stroll through them. The more relaxed pool near the main lobby and Taman Wantilan Restaurant is such a peaceful place to while away the afternoon, enjoying the afternoon sorbet round.

Marina Byers (Staff)

Situated amongst the scenic shoreline of Jimbaran Bay, the Four Seasons is a milestone for Balinese hotels having just celebrated its 20th year, and it is clear why it's popularity continues to grow and grow. Styled on traditional Balinese decoration of rich wood and stone, my garden view villa was an oasis of luxury and elegance resembling a mini temple in itself. The resort spread over a 35 acre plot offers a wide range of activities for all the family, from water sports such as paddle boarding and snorkelling to morning yoga and a kids club for children aged between 4 and 12. A highlight of the resort is its spa facilities where you can book in for an evening treatment till as late as 11pm, which is the perfect end to the day.

Olivia Smith (Staff)

The Four Seasons is a wonderful property perched on a cliff in the great Jimbaran Bay area of Bali. All the villas are within their own private compound and each villa has a covered outdoor living area and very private sun deck. Inside, the rooms are large with French doors out to the sun deck giving great sea views and lots of light. The property also houses a great complimentary kids club, making it one of the only properties in Bali that is truly family friendly. There is also a wonderful array of restaurants, from the beachfront PJs to the Indonesian style Warung Mei and the food is delicious! You are also perfectly positioned to explore the local seafood restaurants of Jimbaran Bay. In my mind, this is the perfect property for a family getaway in Bali and I left feeling thoroughly spoilt and relaxed!
