Day 1-3

Reykjavik, Iceland

As the excitement builds your epic winter Icelandic adventure begins.  Leap into chic Reykjavik, Iceland’s colourful capital city, bursting with a vibrancy, fun and culture, boasting stylish bars, restaurants and a number of museums and art galleries. You will be staying at the contemporary Canopy by Hilton Reykjavik, with décor inspired by Scandinavian design.  Relax by open fires with a signature cocktail, chat with fellow travellers at the complimentary tasting sessions, or unwind in a secluded corner. For dinner, Canopy by Hilton's Geiri Smart gourmet restaurant offers a delicious menu using fresh ingredients, locally-sourced where possible, paired with fantastic wines in a trendy and elegant setting.

After exploring this charming city, escape to the wild Icelandic countryside. With your private guide explore the famed Golden Circle, a route around some of the country’s most iconic natural wonders. You’ll start at Thingvellir National Park, where the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates meet. This UNESCO World Heritage Site was once home of the Icelandic national parliament and is now one of Iceland’s most visited landmarks thanks to its unique geology. Continue on to Gullfoss, one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world, surrounded by snow during the winter months. If you’re lucky enough to visit on a sunny day, look out for the rainbow which can be spotted shining above the falls. Your final stop in the Golden Circle is Geysir, home of the original geysers which still shoot water up to 40 metres (130 feet) into the air at regular intervals. After exploring this unique geothermal area, return to Reykjavik to unwind before your next adventure.

Day 3-5

Southern Iceland, Iceland

Your epic journey continues, leaving behind the city lights and takes you south to the remote Icelandic wilderness just an hour and a half from Reykjavik.  On the way, your private guide will take you to some of the most impressive landmarks and areas of natural beauty. Visit the spectacular Seljalandsfoss waterfall, where you’ll have the chance to walk behind the falls, before continuing to the coast and Iceland’s black sand beaches, complete with fascinating rock formations such as Dyrhólaey. Jump on a snowmobile for an adrenaline-fuelled ride taking you even closer to Iceland’s nature and enormous ice-filled volcanic craters, so much fun you won’t want it to stop.

Stay at the perfectly positioned country resort of Hotel Ranga, submerged in picturesque surroundings including glaciers, mountains, and the nearby volcano at Hekla. The lack of light pollution also means that this is one of the best places in the world for viewing the famous Aurora Borealis. You can enjoy the view from the glass-walled restaurant or even from one of the geothermically powered hot tubs between the hotel and the river Ranga.

The next day, your expert guide will take you on an amazing super jeep tour allowing you access to glacial rivers, volcanoes and waterfalls along rough tracks in order to reach even the most remote locations. You will be taken to places very few people get to experience up close and personal.  Finally, on the way back to the airport, you’ll be taken to the Blue Lagoon, a huge natural geothermal spa renowned for its brilliant blue waters. Here you can immerse yourself in the health-giving silica-enriched waters or treat yourself to a little pampering for a truly relaxing end to your Icelandic adventure.  Get that iconic picture submerged in the famous blue of this sublime experience.
