Wilderness Hotel Muotka is a fantastic choice for couples with cosy romantic rooms and traditional log cabins. With plenty of stunning landscape to explore Wilderness Hotel Muotka is the perfect place to try out some adventurous winter activities such as a safari by snowmobile or husky, ice fishing and snowshoeing. We can also organise for you to visit a reindeer farm, where you will meet a herder and even have chance to feed these adorable deer who are so synonymous with Lapland. As Northern Finland is one of the best places to spot the Northern Lights there are a number of activities on offer with different ways to set out to find these elusive lights. You can choose to set out by car, with snowshoes or on a snowmobile.
There are a few different accommodation options at the Wilderness Hotel Muotka either staying a room or suite in the main hotel or in an Aurora or Panorama log cabin. Wilderness rooms are comfortable and cosy and some even have their own fireplace, should you wish to select a superior room you will also have your own sauna. The Panorama log cabins feature large panoramic windows overlooking the surrounding forest, so you can observe the nature from the warmth of your cabin. For a very special stay, choose an Aurora Cabin where the transparent roof offers ample opportunity to spot the Northern Lights from your bed. You also have a private sauna and bathroom.

Take a visit to a local reindeer farm where, if you're lucky you'll have the chance to hand-feed the reindeer!
