Itinerary

Day 1-4

Sydney, New South Wales, Australia

Sydney is a vibrant multi-cultural city that hugs the shores of a very beautiful harbour, and its cosmopolitan population has made it a melting pot of diverse restaurants and world class cuisine. From the world-renowned fine dining establishments of Tetsuyas, Aria and Neil Perry's Rockpool to the unsung delights of fish and chips on the beach at Watsons Bay or breakfast at Bills, Sydney's multitude of eateries will keep your inner gourmet satisfied for your first few nights. Included during your time in Sydney is a Full Day Food and Wine Tour with a local foodie where you will explore local markets, tour one of Sydney’s best cheese boutiques and enjoy a paddock-to-plate dining experience in the historic suburb of Woollahra.

Accommodation: The Langham Sydney ( 3 nights )
Day 4-7

Melbourne, Australia

Your next stop is Melbourne, Victoria’s capital and the number one destination for coffee in the world. Explore the boutique lanes that criss-cross throughout the city, sampling food from low-key markets and pop up food stalls to dining at some of Australia’s best high-end eateries. Head south of Melbourne to explore the picturesque Mornington Peninsula region, where a plethora of locally produced gourmet food, cheeses, chocolate and wine is produced.

Accommodation: Park Hyatt Melbourne ( 3 nights )
Day 7-10

Barossa Valley, Australia

From Melbourne, make your way to the Barossa Valley where some of the world's most premium wines are produced. Here you will get to explore the many wineries of the region. From small to large producers, meet the men and women behind the scenes on a guided tour or hire bicycles and cycle the vines at your leisure. We have included a full day private tour of the wine region with a local guide where you’ll take part in wine tastings at boutique wineries and enjoy lunch at a recommended cellar door.

Accommodation: The Louise ( 3 nights )
Day 10-11

Perth, Western Australia, Australia

Fly across to Western Australia for a night in the state’s capital, Perth. A rejuvenated city, Perth has changed dramatically over the last few years. Offering some of Australia’s finest restaurants, shopping and accommodation, Perth offers something for every budget. Within the city, King’s Park offers beautiful botanic gardens filled with native flora and fauna or you could simply spend time at leisure exploring the bustling city independently.

Accommodation: COMO The Treasury ( 1 night )
Day 11-14

Margaret River, Australia

For the final stop on your journey, you will spend three nights amidst the stunning scenery of the Margaret River. Responsible for producing almost 15% of Australia’s wines, of which a significant number are premium labels, the Margaret River region is one of the most beautiful wine regions in Australia, with a patch-work scenery of emerald-green pastures and neat rows of vines. Boutique breweries, dairy products, jams and condiment producers, a marron (freshwater crayfish) farm, olive groves and even chocolate and fudge factories add to the gourmet experience, some of which you will visit during your included full day privately guided tour of the region. The local towns are also scenic and have a good collection of local craft and art galleries as well as antique and bric-a-brac shops that are fun to browse.

Accommodation: Cape Lodge ( 3 nights )
