Summers can be hot and humid while winter snowfalls are not uncommon.

The Carlyle offers a full babysitting service which can be pre-booked or organised with the concierge. Upon request before arrival, the hotel can outfit guest rooms and suites with full sized cribs, child sized bathrobes and slippers as well as changing tables. There are also children's menus for in room dining.
