The ski season in the United States is longer than that in Europe. Most resorts open sometime in November, with Thanksgiving (the fourth Thursday in that month) being a common opening time, and stay open until mid to late April. The exceptionally high altitude means December through to February can be extremely cold, with temperatures sometimes reaching as low as -12C, although the skiing conditions remain very good. Warmer temperatures in the Spring mean more variable skiing conditions and softer, forgiving snow.

Charlotte Austin (Staff)
From the moment I walked into this hotel, I was impressed by the colossal size of the lobby but actually even though it is such a large hotel everyone is still so friendly and helpful. The service makes this hotel as amazing as it is and really nothing is too much trouble for all of the staff. They will do their utmost to make your stay really special and always offer a helping hand should something go wrong.
