Located just outside the west entrance to Yosemite National Park on Highway 120, Rush Creek Lodge offers a range of comfortable, bright, modern rooms and villas that will appeal to families wanting to explore some of America’s most beautiful landscapes. The resort enjoys a relaxed and sophisticated vibe. Reminiscent of a ski-chalet, the main lodge has a rustic feel with crackling fires and inviting sofas. There are daily activities and tours, a large pool area with hot tubs, several dining options, a games room and plenty of helpful staff on hand to help you get the most from your stay.
There are 140 Lodge rooms and suites, as well as one and two-bedroom villas dotted throughout the forested site. All the accommodation includes a private deck with either forest or sunset views. Standard amenities include Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, en-suite bathroom with shower, satellite radio, iPod dock, Kuerig coffee maker, fridge, safe, comfortable beds and bedding, along with a selection of games. To create an authentic and rewarding mountain experience, there are no TVs. The décor is fresh, bright and modern with custom-made furnishings and original artwork. Upgrade to a villa for separate living and sleeping areas, as well as a separate bathtub. Guests can enjoy a mountain-style breakfast and hearty dinners at the Restaurant, which has an outdoor terrace, intimate booths and large tables for group dining. For lunch and casual dining head to the Tavern, with sports TV, live music and karaoke, while the pool bar is great for snacks and summer barbeques. There are many facilities and activities to enjoy here including a large saltwater pool, hot tubs, massage rooms, yoga, daily activities and guided tours which include hiking, painting, fishing and white-water rafting.
