Wuyuan Highlights

Shaped like a crescent moon, the Moon Bay is a scenic stop on your way to the famous villages along the East Line of Wuyuan, where you will visit two of the most outstanding examples which gives way to Wuyuan's fame.
Jiangling is known for its spectacular vista of large terraces along its mountain slope. The juxtaposition of tile-roofed farmhouses, crops and the rural mountainous scenery is a must-see while you are in Wuyuan. If you are lucky enough to visit between March and April, the area blooms into an ocean of seasonal golden canolas. Between August and October, and in occasions up to November, an ocean of coreopsis radiates throughout the terraces. However, the vista remains stunning at other times of the year, especially if you would like a more tranquil visit with less crowd.
Huangling is special for its Huizhou architectural style as you stroll across the quaint village. From late summer to early autumn, corns or chillies are laid on the roofs of these Huizhou houses. Throughout autumn, a range of dry crops are similarly laid down on the roofs, turning the village into a colorful postcard perfection.
