Driving across Chele La, the highest road pass in Bhutan at 3880m above sea level, guests may get a view of the snow-capped eastern Himalayas, including the magnificent Mt Jhomolhari, one of the most sacred mountains in Bhutan. Haa Valley was only opened to foreign tourists in 2002 and most locals still continue to follow their age-old traditions. After visiting Haa Town, guests get to enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot along Haa Chu. After lunch, proceed to visit Lhakhang Karpo (White Temple), a Buddhist temple dating back to 7th century AD.
