Average time to visit
The best time to visit the UAE is between October and November and then February and March, when temperatures hang around the mid-20s and the humidity is under control. While December and January are generally considered the best months to go, the weather over the last couple of ‘winters’ has been unpredictable with occasional cloud and rain.
The month of Ramadan means hotel rates are heavily discounted, but while outside the resort, Ramadan is strictly adhered to, within the resorts you will notice very little difference.
High summer (July and August) means heavy discounted hotels it’s a great option for a cheap getaway but it will be very very hot and very very humid!

The Ritz-Carlton is in a brilliant location in Dubai, being right next to the JBR walk and on the beach it has the best of both worlds without the feel of being right in the city. The hotel has a relaxed feel and you can opt to spend your time in the gardens or on the beach. I would recommend the Palm Grill by the beach for an understated lunch!

I really loved The Ritz-Carlton, with it's blend of traditional decor with lovely modern touches. The location right on JBR Walk is in my opinion, one of the best in Dubai allowing guests to get out into the Marina without worrying about taxis. As with many hotels, construction is evident. Unfortunately the Ritz-Carlton does have a particularly large development in construction right in front of the resort, however that shouldn't put guests off this otherwise superb hotel.

This chic hotel has a rather spacious & contemporary feel to it. Great for couples with an adult only outdoor pool and private luxury spa. Super location with fantastic views for the New Year's display.

The Ritz-Carlton has a very spacious feel to it, both in the rooms and in terms of outside space. All the rooms are sea facing and interconnecting rooms can be guaranteed, which is a great bonus for families. It's in a great location for exploring lots of bars, shops and restaurants in the JBR area.

I visited the Ritz-Carlton in October 2012 and then again in April 2015. I can honestly say that it has improved a huge amount since its expansion and refurbishment. I really like the property, it has a great balance of classic and contemporary styles. It also doesn't feel too big. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel is also well-located if you want to walk out to nearby cafes, bars and shops in the Jumeirah Beach Residence area.

The Ritz-Carlton is one of the smaller hotels on the Jumeirah Beach, this does not mean it's boutique but tends to be a quieter, more relaxed place to stay. A 'Mall' has opened behind the hotel, which provides an extensive variety of places to eat and shop and it is very accessible from the hotel. With its fantastic kids club and interconnecting rooms the Ritz is the place to go as a family. What is even more impressive is the Ritz-Carlton service which always is above and beyond.
