Singita Faru Faru Lodge
  • Beautifully designed scandi style lodge which blends effortlessly into its surroundings whilst boasting luxurious touches throughout as well as great facilities with fully equipped gym, yoga mats in your suite, two treatment rooms and two pools!

  • Relax by the pool whilst a herd of giraffe wanders towards the nearby water hole or be spellbound as the migration thunders past below the intimate upstairs dining area.

  • The lodge is well known for its incredible food and staff who instantly make guests feel at ease.

  • Rooms all have an interesting bush view, are very private and superbly equipped – early risers can hop onto their yoga mat in the morning after a spot of birdwatching! Suite number 9 can sleep up to six people with interconnecting rooms.

Situated on a slope, basking in the abundance of animal species and birdlife around it, Singita's Faru Faru Lodge lends a contemporary signature style to safari. Inspired by a botanical theme, this riverside lodge offers barefoot elegance in a laid-back rustic setting.

The organic lines of two rim-flow swimming pools echo those of a watering hole that lies just below. The elevated viewing decks over the watering hole allow guests to view game without even leaving their lodge, and a Swahili-inspired ‘beach’ offers the opportunity for some serious rest and relaxation.

Grumeti Reserves is a private 340,000 acre (140,000 hectare) safari destination bordering the Serengeti National Park to the northeast. As part of the greater Serengeti ecosystem it sits in the path of the great wildebeest migration providing excellent game viewing.

In addition to day and night game drives, guests can make full use of the facilities at Sasakwa Lodge, including tennis. Faru Faru Lodge is completely unfenced so that animals are free to wander close to the lodge as well as coming to drink at the nearby watering hole, which it overlooks. Ideal for couples and families with just nine safari vehicles (for three camps) covering an area almost the size of the Masaai Mara.
