Sacred Valley Horse Riding
Spend half a day riding through the beautiful Sacred Valley on some of the best horses in the area. This is a lovely relaxing way to explore the local tracks of this traditional rural area, away from the crowds of the main sites.
Area
Cuzco Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu
The Sol y Luna horses are Paso horses, unique to Peru and truly wonderful to ride. After a short orientation, we set off on dirt tracks along the floor of the sacred valley passing through many different rural communities where many are still dressed in traditional clothing from Inca times. It is a gentle ride and a great way to see how the locals still live their lives with very little impact from the modern world.
Includes transport, guiding, helmets and gloves.
