Modern Slavery Statement for the financial year ending 31 October 2021

Our Business

Luxury Travel Holdings Limited is the ultimate group company in our entity structure. It fully owns among others, Luxury Travel Acquisitions Limited, Luxury Travel Financing Limited, The Luxury Travel Group Limited and Scott Dunn Limited.

Scott Dunn, founded in 1986, is one of the UK’s leading luxury travel companies arranging bespoke holidays to locations all over the world. The company has an office in London in the UK.

Our Policies on Modern Slavery

The Luxury Travel Holdings Group is committed to ensuring that high standards are maintained throughout our supply chain; to ensure that we are not engaged or complicit in exploitation of people whether through forced labour, servitude, child labour or trafficking.

Due Diligence Processes and Risk Assessment

Our compliance with the standards set out in the Modern Slavery Act 2015 is the responsibility of the Product Team, led by the Global Sales and Product director.

To address the risks of our unwittingly being involved in Modern Slavery or trafficking, we have agreed to apply the following policies to maximise transparency in our supply chain:

  • We have a section dedicated to Modern Slavery in our personnel guide for conducting “familiarisation visits” so that employees visiting properties are aware of the risks, the need to look out for warning signs and what these warning signs might be.
  • We include a section in our Supplier Service Agreements setting out the standards to which we expect suppliers to adhere in respect of Modern Slavery.

Measuring Effectiveness

The group’s supply chain comprises over 4,000 hotels and resorts as well as hundreds of airlines, ground handlers and other providers. Furthermore, this list may change significantly from one year to the next.

The group is committed to having as thorough a knowledge as possible of the destinations we feature for our guests. This enables us to have a degree of visibility of warning signs of working practices in our supply chain on a regular basis, although this may be limited by practical circumstances in each destination.

Our compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and success in implementing these policies will be reviewed annually by the Management Team and Board of Directors at a Board Meeting.

Training will be provided to all Destination Managers to ensure they understand our policy and how to identify warning signs. We will also include information in our familiarisation trip briefing for all staff that are travelling within our supply chain so that they are aware of the risks and know to be aware of the warning signs and what these might be.

This statement constitutes the Luxury Travel Holdings Limited Modern Slavery statement for the financial year ending 31 October 2021.
