This relaxed, informal camp is situated in the remote Koiyaki area adjacent to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve and is surrounded by wonderful wildlife viewing. At Ol Seki guests can enjoy the big 5 game viewing in the privacy of a game reserve away from the hustle of mass tourism. Guests can enjoy a truly isolated safari experience that winds back the colonial clock. Day trips into the Maasai Mara National Park can also be organised if requested.
The Large walk-in canvas tents with huge beds, solar lighting and fine linen provide comfortable accommodation for up to 12 guests, along with two expansive family suites. Traditional colonial décor coupled with all the modern amenities provide guests with a genuine Safari experience.
Activities are mainly about the wildlife and guests are taken in specially adapted safari vehicles on game drives, either during the day or by spotlight at night to catch a glimpse of those elusive nocturnal species. Walking safaris with an armed scout are also available as well as Hot Air Ballooning. Many guests also enjoy a visit to one of the Maasai villages and the guides in camp will happily show you around the Koikaki Guiding School, which the camp supports and from where most of the guides will graduated.
Ol Seki contributes directly to the Maasai community and is proud of the strong relationship held between the camp and the residents of the Koiyaki community.
