Canopy walkway at Reserva Amazonica
Puerto Maldonado, Peruvian Amazon, Peru
Come eye to eye with the primates and birds that live in the treetops of the Amazon rainforest from the canopy walkways at Reserva Amazonica. Towers and hanging bridges link their way through the forest offering a unique perspective.
The Inkaterra canopy walkway offers a totally different vantage point from which to view the forest and its inhabitants. Come eye to eye with bright-coloured toucans, woodpeckers and trogons, or watch troops of monkeys as they leap through the trees. There is an interpretation centre at the base of the first tower, offering a variety of information about the flora and fauna you might encounter at the different levels of the ecosystem.
