The Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel is located in the village of Aguas Calientes at the foot of the Machu Picchu, and offers 60 spacious guest rooms and suites. It offers a perfect base from which to visit the awe-inspiring ruins and lost city of Machu Picchu.
Set on the banks of the Vilcanota River, the Sumaw Machu Picchu Hotel is designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscapes. How to get there
13-hour flight from London to Lima's Jorge Chávez International Airport, followed by a 1-hour 15-minute domestic flight to Cuzco (overnight in Lima usually required). Sanctuary Lodge is a 3-hour 30-minute train journey to Aguas Calientes and a 20-minute car transfer from there.
