Fly Johannesburg to Windhoek

Days 1-2: Windhoek
On arrival in Johannesburg connect with an onward flight to Windhoek where you will overnight. Spend the evening in an a boutique hotel in a quiet corner of the city within close distance to restaurants.

Days 2-5: NamibRand Nature Reserve
Fly to the towering red sand dunes of the Namib Desert. Enjoy scenic drives and nature walks in search of desert adapted wildlife and enjoy the breath taking scenery or take an early morning balloon flight and be suspended in stillness over the sand dunes and plains below.

Days 5-7: Swakopmund
Fly north to Namibia’s adventure capital Swakopmund and take to the water and kayak with seals off Pelican point or explore the coastline on a full day excursion down to Sandwich Harbour famed for its bird colonies and dramatic dune formations with sanddunes rolling into the sea.

Days 7-10: Hoanib, Skeleton Coast, Namibia
Fly north to where the sand dunes of the oldest desert in the world collide with the cold of the wild Atlantic coast. The eerie mist created by the collision of these two forces of nature are a delight for all keen photographers and the iconic coastline is a beauty with its shipwreck remains, windswept beaches and hordes of seals. In this remote corner of the country discover the incredible landscapes and roaring dunes on foot, head out on a game vehicle in search of desert adapted elephants or enjoy a full day excursion to the wild Skeleton Coast, home to cape fur seals and ship wrecks scattered along the beach.

Fly Windhoek to Victoria Falls

Days 10-13: Victoria Falls - the Zim side
Fly back to Windhoek in time to connect with an onward international flight to Victoria Falls where you will be met and transferred to your luxury lodge situated on the banks of the Zambezi.
The area around the lodge is abundant with wildlife and the lodge offers a plethora of activities to take guests closer to the action. Guests can participate in game drives and walking safaris to spot a variety of animals such as elephant, hippo, lion and leopard, and there are birdwatching expeditions to find some of the 366-bird species in the area. Due to its proximity to the river, enjoy sunrise or sunset cruises, and the chance to take part in mokoro (canoe) or boat excursions. Activities further afield can also be organised at the falls, and adrenaline junkies can try bungee jumping from the Victoria Falls bridge, or white-water rafting on the Zambezi.

Days 13-16: Vumbura Concession
From the banks of the Zambezi you will be transferred by road to the Botswana border and board a light aircraft flight from Kasane into the heart of the Okavango Delta. The lush green waterways, verdant plains, miles upon miles of reed beds and papyrus swamps of the Delta create Africa's biggest oasis and the world's only inland delta. This is an area of exceptional natural beauty.
Enjoy water-based activities with mokoros traversing the floodplains under the guidance of experienced polers or a motor boat adventure along the permanent channels. Game drives will allow you to get close to animals in the savannah areas. Walks (on request) around the islands are an opportunity to enjoy Africa from a different perspective.At an extra cost, hot air balloon safaris (available April to September) are also a unique way to discover the unique and game rich eco system of the Okavango Delta.
