The Estates at Pangkor Laut Resort is a truly unique property, located on a private island off the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. Comprising eight exquisite, fully-staffed estates, a stay here promises exclusive luxury in a secluded paradise.

The privately-owned Pangkor Laut Island is home to a two-million year-old rainforest. The owners have remained respectful of the pristine natural surroundings, and The Estates, and sister property Pangkor Laut Resort only occupy a small area of the island, whilst the rest remains untouched. The Estates either have two, three or four bedrooms, and each boasts a large swimming pool and many feature an outdoor Jacuzzi. Some of the villas are on the beachfront, whilst others are tucked away in the rainforest on the hillside. Each Estate is different, but all are luxuriously appointed, with plenty of living space and buildings connected by paved walkways and bridges.

The Estates sit on the northern part of the island, separated from the Resort in order to ensure plenty of privacy. However should guests wish to use the Resort's restaurants, or the heavenly Spa Village, each Estate is assigned its own vehicle and driver to provide seamless journeys between the properties.

If booked on an a full-board basis, each Estate is also staffed by two butlers and a private chef. These highly-trained butlers are able to quickly familiarise themselves with their guests' requirements and preferences, often anticipating their needs before the guests have even thought about it. They will also use their creativity to craft excursions and dining experiences to ensure your stay is as special and memorable as possible. Dining is also tailored. You can let the Estate Manager know your preferences and any special requests, or simply put your culinary journey in the hands of your expert chef, who will also be happy to provide cooking demonstrations and classes.

There are good facilities for children at the Estates, where the service from your staff is exceptionally personalised, meaning your family's every need can be coordinated and catered to. Equipment for infants and toddlers, as well as games, beach equipment and DVDs can be easily arranged.

Should you wish to venture out, Estate guests have full use of Pangkor Laut Resort facilities which include two swimming pools, state of the art gym, three tennis courts, squash court, TV lounge, library and hair salon. The Spa Village is an indulgent retreat with extensive treatments from China, Japan, India, Thailand, Bali and Malaysia. There are seven restaurants to choose from at the resort including Fisherman's Cove, a waterfront restaurant serving fresh seafood, and Uncle Lim's Kitchen, built around a rocky outcrop and offering traditional Asian cuisine.

Activities during your stay can include jungle trekking, fishing, and yacht charters. As everything is tailored to your individual requirements, if there is something you are keen to do, your butler will be delighted to assist.

The luxurious and incredibly private Pangkor Laut Estates at Marina Bay feature just eight stunning Estates, located either on a secluded bay or high in the tropical rainforest.

Each of the nine unique estates houses from four to eight guests and comprises a series of pavilions - for sleeping, dining, living, lounging and bathing. Inspired by Malaysian teahouses, they are dotted around a landscaped tropical garden which seamlessly blends into the island's rainforest. Design-wise, its East meets the twenty-first century: huge, flat-topped Indonesian-style beds, glass walls that bring the jungle to your room, electric woven blinds, wooden carvings, wicker chairs and a huge bathroom, all decked out with curios and artefacts from Thailand and Bali. In addition, two dedicated Estate attendants and a chef prepare and serve your daily meals, address your housekeeping requests and will rustle up a delicious snack or arrange a relaxing massages in your private balé.
