Located in a part of Greece steeped in history and surrounded by lush olive groves, vineyards and secluded coves, The Romanos stretches along the beautiful and uncrowded Dunes Beach making it the perfect place to unwind and enjoy everything this part of the Peloponnese has to offer. It is an area largely untouched by mass tourism and has won many awards, including the National Geographic "Best 20 Locations in the World to Visit".
More contemporary in style than its sister resort The Westin, The Romanos offers guests space, luxury and enhanced services. It is an excellent family option, with an Explorers kids club on site and also on selected dates, Crew our program designed specifically for older children aged 11+. There are extensive facilities and activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a fantastically designed aqua park, adventure playground and a number of child friendly swimming pools. The main outdoor pool at the Westin, the Aqua Park and all private pools are heated between 25-27 degrees from April through the June (weather dependent) and then turned on again within the third week of September.
The resort uses natural materials that blend in perfectly with the surrounding landscape. There is accommodation to suit both families and couples, with seafront villas and many rooms with interconnecting options. Faultless service and attention to detail make The Romanos stand out.
The main hub of the resort is the Agora, (which it shares with The Westin). Based on the ancient Greek tradition of a meeting place and with its own amphitheater, it's full of boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars, and has a lively and vibrant village feel. There is also the beautiful Anazoe Spa, if you want to a luxury treatment or spend the day unwinding with a good book.
The sports facilities both on land and water are outstanding. At either end of the pebble beach, there's a vast selection of equipment available for guests to use, from surfing to kayaking, golf or tennis, you can be as busy or as relaxed as you choose to be. Costa Navarino has two 18 hole signature golf courses, so easily accessible to guests of both hotels.
Happy children, make happy vacations and there are no shortage of things to make them smile. Our Childcare program is second to none and guests return to our Explorer kids club locations year-on-year, confident in the knowledge that whilst they relax and enjoy precious vacation time, their children are creating unique experiences and making new friends.

From April/May onwards the weather settles but it can sometimes be cool in the evenings. By mid/end of May, the weather generally settles in a pattern of long hot sunny days and balmy evenings especially in July and August when it can be very hot. Rain is unlikely but it can happen from time to time. May to October are particularly pleasurable months.
