It's one of our favorite hotels in Vietnam.

The Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai Hoi An is a stunning resort hotel right on the beach about 20 minutes from Hoi An. The rooms are spread over a big expanse so you never feel on top of anyone. The pools are huge and the beach is stunning. The rooms are quite dark but with all of the outdoor space you wouldn't be spending too much time indoors anyway. The food is very good in both restaurants, however somewhat overpriced.

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai Hoi An is almost impossible not to like! It sets a new benchmark of Luxury hotels in the Hoi An area of Vietnam. When you arrive into the resort you cannot fail to be impressed, its sleek, its stylish and you just know you are somewhere special. The One-bedroom villas (lead in room) are approximately 80msq and are both luxurious and extremely comfortable at the same time. The are fitted with all of the mod-cons and in my opinion is one of the nicest rooms set-ups Ive stayed in across the world. From the rooms its a quick nip down to the lovely beach if youd like a swim. Alternatively you can head to the fantastic main area of the hotel where theres 3 infinity pools to make use of. This is all if you dont have a private pool yourself as 40 of the Villas do in resort (one, two, three, four & five bed options perfect for families! When you are there be sure to make use of the fantastic facilities the hotel as so much to offer when can I go back?!

The Nam Hai is an utterly gorgeous property. The villas here are enormous and all of them have a view of the sea even if you are not right on the beach front. I was lucky enough to stay in a beach front villa which was amazing as I woke early enough to almost see the sunrise from my private terrace just a few steps away from the beach which is never ending and powder soft. The villas dont come with pools but that is not an issue as there are three main swimming pools at the hotel giving plenty of space to relax.

The Nam Hai will wow with its villas, service, facilities, food and pool. The villas are amazing they have so much space and have such a quirky design with lots of luxury amenities. The service is excellent, the staff always seemed to be aware of who you are and what you were doing so they could help you and look out for you. The Nam Hai has three pools, a lovely sandy beach, tennis courts, state of the art gym, a kids club to name a few so there is something to keep everyone occupied. It would be the perfect place for families with older children for a beach destination. Upgrade to a Pool Villa for some added luxury benefits such as afternoon tea, evening cocktails and canaps.

Arriving at the Nam Hai I was blown away by how beautiful the hotel is. The villas are nestled between palm trees on a 1km stretch of white sandy beach. There are three tiered swimming pools and two exquisite restaurants. The whole resort is softly lit, giving it a warm glow. Staying here is a totally luxurious experience. Everything is so well thought through, and the service is impeccable. The villas are contemporary, with modern appliances, a four poster bed and beautiful bath and shower.

While the Pool Villa is a jump in price, the additional benefits make this well worth it, as they add to the luxury of the whole experience. There are plenty of activities to do here, from tennis, badminton and yoga classes to getting on the hotel shuttle bus the 15 minutes to Hoi An center to take in the sights. All this and you can look forward to indulging in a treatment in the serene spa at the end of it.

This is not just an adult experience as there is a very well equipped kids club that runs from 9am 6pm with indoor and outdoor activities, such as visiting the herb garden and learning some Vietnamese words. In my opinion this is one of the finest hotels in Vietnam.

This hotel has the WOW factor, and it has so much to offer for all ages without loosing the sophistication of a contemporary hotel. The Villa we settled into was very spacious, quite minimalist and immaculately designed. Most of the villas have private pools but if your villa doesn't its a great excuse to head to the main pools, of which there are three, or the beach. The service could not be better and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. If you are wanting a civilize vacation with the family, look no further. The kids club at the Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai Hoi An will keep children of all ages amused all day! Getting into the local town of Hoi An from here is easy, either with the complimentary shuttle bus or a private driver.

Slick and sexy are the two words I think sum up this gorgeous beach resort on a quieter stretch of Ha My Beach, just a 20 minute drive from the historic town of Hoi An. This is the top place to stay in the area and has won many awards for the architecture. The main features are the three infinity edge swimming pools which blend into the ocean. The one closest to the beach is Olympic size and great for an early morning swim before the intense heat of Central Vietnam sets in.

The rooms here, whilst not to my own personal taste, are extremely indulgent and dramatic. The bed framed by flowing white drapes is the main focus of the room sitting right in the middle of the spacious set up. Everything else is black and the contrast works a treat. There are also larger villas with beautiful living spaces and pools. The set ups are not perfect for families with a small walkway between the bedrooms and living areas, so perhaps better suited to older children or little ones can sleep on the day bed in the main bedrooms.

There are lovely walks to be enjoyed along the beach to the next door fishing village, bike rides into Hoi An, cooking classes and a beautiful spa set over floating lily pads. Dining here is a treat, extremely fresh and beautifully presented food. We enjoyed a Vietnamese dinner here complete with beautiful lime green lanterns handing from the trees above. A very memorable stay in this beautifully polished resort.

The next day, it takes us nearly three hours to drive the 90 miles past fluorescent-green paddy fields and rice drying on the tarmac. Then we travel along winding mountain roads until we reach the Nam Hai resort near Hoi An. This is honeymoon central. There are Aman-style villas with chic contemporary Asian decor, some with private infinity pools edging onto the golden China Beach and a picture-perfect sparkling sea. The staff model the natural perma-smiles of many Vietnamese. It’s a relief to relax after so much activity. Phuong, out butler, does our packing, serves us steamed fish in banana leaves, and even accompanies us some of the hundreds of tailors and shoemaking shops in Hoi An.

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai Hoi An is quite a rarity in Vietnam. It is a large and contemporary resort, super luxurious with incredible villas and similar to the sort of property you would get in Thailand or Langkawi in Malaysia. The rooms are particularly amazing, all equipped with latest gadgets, many with pools and multiple bedrooms that are ideal for larger families. In fact, the Nam Hai is an excellent choice for families looking for a sophisticated beach hotel but with all the culture of Hoi An old town just 10mins away. If you your children would rather stay in the hotel, there is an excellent Kids Club and the Pool Villas come with a driver at your disposal to take you into town whenever you like.
