TDC (The Development Centre) is a British ski coaching centre and ski school. It’s a new kind of ski school focussing on coaching each individual on their style and skills. Born out of frustration with traditional ski lessons and one-size-fits-all drills, their ski coaching aims to help people make a breakthrough and really develop their style, ability and confidence. The instructors are all native English speakers and are fully qualified to the highest instructor level in both British (BASI) and French instructorship.
From their name to their teaching styles, this ski school claims to have the next generation of ski instructor. With children’s lessons revolving around games, challenges and adventure so the children learn whilst having fun. You can upgrade child lessons to full days which means no need to pick them up for lunch as an Instructor takes care of them and after lunch takes them out for another session of action packed tuition. This is great for the keen-skiing parents who want a full-day to explore what the mountain has to offer.
Mountain Masters are a smaller ski school which means availability does run out quickly but for good reason. Every member of their team has the ability to adapt their wealth of knowledge and experience to get the most out of every skier, providing you with the skiing awareness and tools for improvement that you will take away from the lesson so you can develop at your own pace.
A small team that really are true to their name with all the Instructors having the highest of qualifications but also are the Head Coaches for the British Navy and RAF snowboard teams. They have adapted their coaching for a less regimented person than the Armed Forces to ensure a fast, enjoyable and safe progression no matter your level. They offer fantastic group and private lessons and all the Instructors are qualified for off-piste.
