Located in the heart of Paris, between the Louvre, Rue St Honoré and Place Vendôme, Le Meurice is surrounded by culture, fashion and history. This beautiful palace hotel has been open since 1815 and has had many well-known guests, including Salvador Dalí who would regularly stay here. Dalí has influenced much of the style of Le Meurice - one of the hotel restaurants is even named after him.
Le Meurice has adopted a style reminiscent of Louis XVI throughout the hotel, and this is particularly prevalent in the décor of the bedrooms. With period furniture and extravagant fabrics, the rooms and suites are both luxurious and comfortable, and some of the most spacious in Paris. Large windows and light colours ensure the rooms remain bright and airy, with views of the quiet inner courtyard or the beautiful city streets surrounding the Jardin des Tuileries.
Louis' Palace of Versailles is the inspiration for restaurant Le Meurice Alain Ducasse, which has been awarded two Michelin stars for its simple but delicious meals. In-season products are used, with no unnecessary additions to the plate. Surrounded by one-of-a-kind artwork and with views over the Jardin des Tuileries, this is the perfect setting to enjoy such a meal. It is also possible to take a seat at The Chef's Table in the kitchen, reserved for private groups of two to eight to enjoy the sight of the chefs at work. The second restaurant, Le Dalí, is unique and surreal, with many furnishings and artwork inspired by the artist. Sit beneath the magnificent ceiling mural by Ara Starck and enjoy traditional dishes from France and around the world. Meals can also be enjoyed in Bar 228, which is cosy and welcoming, decorated with wooden bar stools and leather chairs, with the atmosphere of a British club.
Le Meurice also has a fantastic spa facility, Spa Valmont, which works with the Swiss skincare company to produce unique treatments. A variety of therapies are on offer, such as massage and facials, and the spa is a secluded haven away from the bustling city. The spa has its own private terrace, which is transformed into a relaxing sandy beach to enjoy during the summer season.
One of the most renowned hotels in Paris, Le Meurice embodies elegance and style, and is the perfect base from which to explore the city and all it has to offer.
