Early summer (November) can be lovely, and in late summer and autumn (March) the colours are stunning. But if you’re planning to go riding in the open steppes, midsummer is wonderful. At any time of year, Torres del Paine has its own microclimate: unpredictable. People will often tell you to expect all seasons in a single day.

Ultra-luxurious, Awasi Patagonia provides an unrivalled base for private excursions into spectacularly wild and remote Torres del Paine National Park, and consists of fourteen stylishly spacious villas with sweeping views and state of the art facilities.
Following in the impressive footsteps of its sister hotel in the Atacama desert, and a member of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux family, Awasi Patagonia is the best place to stay if you are looking for a truly private experience in Torres del Paine. Add to this the unique and beautiful architectural design, spectacular views of the Torres and exceptional service and you have a remarkably special lodge.
Fourteen independent villas - stunning contemporary re-interpretations of old estancia outposts - have been constructed from local wood, and stand in native lenga forest within a private 15,000 acre reserve. Each villa boasts a comfortable and spacious living room with a wood-burning stove, hot tub, and quite memorable views across glacial lakes and vast steppes to the magnificent Torres themselves. The lodge’s restaurant, as befits a Relais & Chateaux property, is acclaimed for its cuisine, drawing on local ingredients that have been given the gourmet treatment. Allow the expertly skilled bar staff to whip up ingenious cocktails or stick to some of the very best wines the country has to offer.
A private 4x4 vehicle and excursion guide is assigned to each villa enabling you to explore this iconic destination at your own pace and with an itinerary tailored to your personal interests and preferences. The lodge is strategically located so guests can discover the abundant flora and fauna of this world biosphere zone, such as rheas, vicunas and puma, while hiking along magnificently wild and scenic trails.
There are fourteen independent and free-standing villas with bedroom and living room, wood-burning stove and hot tub. Thirteen villas are one-bedroom with a king bed and one Master Villa has two bedrooms.
Private restaurant serving top regional food, a bar, and plenty of living areas along with an outside terrace with extraordinary views.
Your villa comes with a private 4x4 vehicle and an experience guide, who will tailor your stay to your own preferences, be it wildlife, walking, or photography. This offers the ultimate flexibility and ensures you get the most out of your stay in this spectacular region.

Awasi is all about the Patagonian personal experience. An intimate property with just 15 villas nested into the hillside overlooking the striking Torres del Paine mountains and endless pampas, Awasi is all about dovetailing the endless activities the park offers with your personal wish list. Your driver picks you up either at the previous hotel or airport and remains with you for the whole of your stay. They are totally flexible so if you wish to lie in or come home a little later as that perfect sunset is taking its time, they are there for you. No setting off with a group for hiking or exploring the park, your guide will find the best spots for photographs, to avoid other people and teach you a wealth of information spanning the geology, glaciology, history, animal and birdlife in the park. The hotel itself is beautifully appointed and an eclectic mixture of furnishings create the comfortable reception areas, sitting room and dining room all overlooking the extensive views. Sunrise is an explosion of pinks, turquoises, purples and oranges across an inky sky. Sunset bathes the lodge in soft colours before settling down in front of the fire with one of their pisco sours or famous Patagonian water. The food is delicious and of gourmet quality making lunches and dinners a moment to linger over after a hard day exploring or trekking. There are hot tubs outside every room to enjoy, fires throughout the hotel and in your villas create ambience and atmosphere and the rooms have everything you need from a mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities, Bose sound systems for your music, deep comfy beds to dream in and fantastic views from their wall to ceiling windows. Large bathrooms with baths and showers are there to relax in and their masseuses come to your room to iron out those knots in front of your fire whenever you feel the need for some pampering. A romantic, beautifully decorated and striking property to relax in whilst you explore the Torres del Paine National Park
