Day 3 - Uyuni Glamping Adventure
Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia
Begin the journey down south, driving along wide dirt roads with endless plains either side, towering volcanoes in the distance and a series of ethereal lagoons, home to bright pink flamingos. Finally reach the Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia's iconic salt flats.
As you descend into the vast salt pan, look out for the region's giant cacti, which reach up to 10m high. Tonight's campsite is located on the northern tip of the Salar de Uyuni, at the base of the Tunupa volcano. Here a group of space age dome tents await, with huge panels acting as a window to the remarkable views outside. Camp altitude, 3,600m. Again, you will stay for two nights, enjoying a full day of explorations. Today's drive time is approx. 8 hours including stops.
