Argentina Lake District Holidays

Argentina’s Lake District is a spectacular array of deep blue glacial lakes, snow capped mountains, flowering meadows and verdant forests. Wonderful for walking, horse-riding, and sailing on the lakes. Bariloche, located right on beautiful Lake Nahuel Huapi, is the region’s heart and is a charming Swiss-style mountain town with sloping streets, outdoor cafes and great restaurants.

In the winter months Bariloche turns into a ski resort. One hour’s drive away is the smaller, more tranquil, town of Villa La Angostura.
