Lloa Lloa is an expansive hotel with two separate buildings, totaling around 200 rooms. All the rooms are spacious but seemed a tad out dated to me but comfortable. It is a great place for kids, with a large swimming pool, games room and they do include activities in the stay which is a bonus.

By nature I am not normally a big fan of large hotels, but Llao Llao really works! It is the oldest of all the Bariloche hotels and still has the feel of a big mountain lodge, but their recently built Moreno Wing is a superb contrast, with charming views, a decor better suited to modern sensibilities, and in my opinion has some of the best appointed rooms in Argentina. The food and service here is top-notch, and it's a great family option with an excellent kids' club and well-run activities including everything from sailing to archery.
