My love for travel started when I embarked on a study abroad program back in 2013 called Semester at Sea. There I traveled the globe on a ship, visiting 13 countries between Asia, Africa & Europe and I was able to deeply immerse myself in the local cultures throughout this 5-month journey.
Since my experience on Semester at Sea I have continued to broaden my travel horizon, visiting 32 countries all before the age of 30! Some of my favorite travel experiences thus far have been sleeping on the ice shelf in Antarctica next to penguins, to sunrise dune hikes in Namibia, to hiking the famed 4-day Inka Trail to Machu Picchu.

What's the most exciting wildlife sighting you’ve ever encountered?
28 orcas in one day in Antarctica, they swam directly under our zodiacs and were paying attention to us!
-
What can you not travel without?
Packing cubes! They are a life saver for traveling as efficiently as possible.
-
How do you deal with jet lag when travelling?
I force myself to stay awake until at least 8pm the first night I am anywhere, even if I am a walking zombie! This allows me to adjust to the time zone quickly.
