The ship has two Airbus helicopters providing an aerial perspective of some of the world’s most inaccessible and beautiful destinations. There is also a custom-designed submarine, capable of submerging up to 300m below the ocean’s surface, giving guests the opportunity to see marine life in its natural habitat. 
For polar expeditions, the maximum number of guests is 200 and there is an almost 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio, with each suite enjoying butler service to enhance the trip. The accommodation is spacious and indulgent, and the 114 ultra-luxury suites are filled with both natural light and stylish amenities. Floor-to-ceiling glass doors open onto a private veranda or terrace, and there is a separate sleep and lounge area. Lumière Restaurant and Champagne Bar offers French fine dining, while the main restaurant, Elements, offers excellent international cuisine and superb steaks.
