The best time to visit the central coast of Vietnam is between February and September with sunny and dry weather that is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday. October to December is the rainy season and we would not recommend travelling at that time and January can be slightly cooler in Hoi An.

Your adventure begins in Hue, the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam. Staying at the lovely boutique Ancient Hue Garden Houses, where each of the private villas are individually designed with a private pool surrounded by lush, tranquil gardens. Bicycles are available on site for you to use to explore Hue and the Imperial City. The concierge team can also assist in arranging yoga, cooking classes or food tours, candle lit dinners on the Huong River, bamboo paper art workshop, bike tours, and visits to nearby villages.
Jump on the back of a Vespa with your expert guide as they take you around the throng of Hue to the historic Citadel and taste the delicacies of the different street vendors as the city comes alive with entertainers, games and food. As you ride on the back on the motorbike you can watch as the locals come out to play games, socialise and congregate around their favourite food stall before joining them for local pizza and beef skewers, a really fun evening to be had. You can also take a vintage vespa guided tour through the countryside to experience rural life here in Hue. They will take you off the beaten path of Hue where you will get to visit a family temple , the French colonial influence in the local architecture and take time to stroll the buzzing local marke5t and enjoy a ferry trip over the Perfume River. From Hue your next stop is Hoi An, a three-hour drive over the world-famous Hai Van pass, featured on many motoring shows and definitely a must-do travel experience. Wind through the mountains with the glittering South China sea on one side and steep cliffs on the other, stopping often to take photos and soak up the scenery of one of the most beautiful roads in the world. In the afternoon you arrive in Hoi An, the charming UNESCO world-heritage site and ancient merchant town with a rich history. There is so much to explore here with fabulous markets and amazing riverside restaurants galore.

Your final stop is the highly exclusive Six Senses resort of Ninh Van Bay. A short flight takes you to Cam Ranh airport and you will drive through the town of Nha Trang to reach the pier. Here a short speedboat journey will take you to the bay, formed by a mountainous peninsula curving into the sea, totally inaccessible by road.
