Penguins at Boulders Beach

Boulders Beach is located on False Bay, close to the small fishing port of Simon's Town and between Fish Hoek and Cape Point.
The colony is about 3,000 strong and was first established in 1983m it is one of very few mainland penguin colonies on the coast. A good way to see the penguins is from the boardwalk at Foxy Beach. As Boulders Beach is part of the Table Mountain National Park, there is a small entrance fee which is put towards the conservation of the endangered African penguins living here.
