Through a meticulous and lengthy restoration, the private owners of Temple Guiting Manor have achieved the difficult task of maintaining a real sense of place and history, while creating a contemporary home-away-from-home with elegant interiors and carefully curated artwork.

The five-bedroom Manor House dates to the 15th century and is built in distinctive honey-coloured stone synonymous with the Cotswolds. Sumptuous furnishings and contemporary art bring each room to life, with endless views across the surrounding 14.5-acre estate complete with a small private lake. For larger gatherings, make the most of the estate’s other secluded hideaways, including the five-bedroom Barn, three-bedroom Granary, the idyllic one-bedroom Cow Byre and Grade I listed Peacock Shed.

Ideal for both families and friends, there are plenty of activities to keep the children busy and give the adults a chance to relax. Enjoy a slower pace of life in the summer months, with long lunches on the lawn followed by an afternoon game of tennis. Breathe in the scent of blossoming flowers, botanical herbs, and shrubs as you stroll through the walled English garden, designed by renowned landscape gardener Jinny Blom. In the colder winter months, curl up by an open fireplace in the formal lounge, plunge into the hot tub, or watch a film in the secret cinema room.

Temple Guiting Manor expertly combines the seclusion of a private home with all the services of a boutique hotel. A private chef is on hand to create everything from a casual barbeque to a refined dinner in the elegant dining room.

The estate’s exceptional location brings with it endless opportunities to explore the charming villages and market towns of the Cotswold, with the art galleries and antique stores of Stow-on-the-Wold just a 15-minute drive away. For history lovers, there is no shortage of local sites to explore including Sudeley Castle and its glorious award-winning gardens. Adventure-seekers can experience a range of country pursuits, from clay pigeon shooting to horse riding, all within a 20-minute drive of the estate.
