Nyerere National Park
At the heart of Tanzania, Nyerere is the country’s largest national park providing dense forest and open grasslands that create a diverse terrain bisected by the Rufiji River. Its vast waterways attracting yellow-billed storks and herds of giraffe and elephants, with the unrivalled opportunity to observe them while drifting along on a boat safari.
With just a handful of camps in Nyerere and spanning 30,893 sq km, one is unlikely to come across any other safari vehicles, only an exceptional wealth of wildlife and birds.
