Jumeirah Mallorca is an intimate and stylish hotel which ensures that guests feel part of the local Mediterranean surroundings, yet enjoy the world class service and traditional hospitality for which Jumeirah is renowned.
This stunning resort has 120 rooms and suites all with terraces and balconies with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, the picturesque Port Soller and the UNESCO Heritage pine forestedTramuntana mountain range. Cleverly linked and spread over 11 buildings, Jumeirah Mallorca sits high on the cliffs above this authentic fishing village on the west coast of Mallorca. Guests love the close proximity to the centre and its shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. Those that fancy a stroll, it is a mere 10-15 minute walk away and a short taxi ride back or alternatively the resort runs a complimentary shuttle to and from the town at scheduled times. There are sun beds and umbrellas for hire at the beach, which are 5€ each.
There are two pools, both with stunning sea views. Families with young children will love the heated pool with its beach style entry, perfect for little ones to have a paddle and generally find their feet in the water. For guests over 16 years wanting peace and quiet, there is a stunning adult-only infinity pool which maximises the sea views at the very top of the resort.
Away from the pool, there are plenty of dining options whether at the hotel or in Port de Soller itself. Alternatively, for some relaxation or a burst of energy at the gym, the Talise spa offers a good range of treatments, plus a hydropool.
For the moments when parents need a break for a couple of hours, 'Barbarojas' for children aged three years plus is a well equipped children’s club with a host of scheduled activities. It is a spacious air conditioned room full of toys, games and equipment for all ages located near to the spa. Babysitting is also available.
Early booking is recommended to secure one of the few interconnecting rooms which are all well appointed and with sea views.
Port de Soller is a highly recommended destination. It was originally the seaside fishermen's village belonging to the town of Soller. This natural port continues to provide fishing but there are also sailing boats, small cafes, local fish restaurants and the beach of Es Repic. Port de Soller is easily connected to Soller by road but can also be assessed by the 100 year old wooded tram, a must do excursion that takes the visitor through orange groves, farms and narrow cobbled streets ending at Soller's main square with its impressive 12th century church and modernist buildings (kids especially love the ride!). The train between Soller and Palma is considered one of the most beautiful train rides in Spain as it travels through the mountain range providing lots of wonderful photo opportunities. Soller is a market town offering visitors a wide variety of artisan shops, bars and restaurants.
The beauty of this coastline, its mild climate and rich culture, tradition and gastronomy makes this a popular choice for guests at all times of the year.
