The Oberoi Rajvilas is part of the luxury Oberoi Group. The Oberoi Rajvilas is a luxury resort full of character. Built in the style of a fort reminiscent of Princely India, and just half an hour from Jaipur, discover the city that epitomises Rajasthan.
All rooms at The Oberoi Rajvilas have four poster beds and sunken marble baths overlooking private walled gardens. Interiors of the Royal Villa highlight the fine craftsmanship and attention to detail that distinguishes the hotel. Many of the rooms are built around courtyards in typical Rajasthani style. Others are set in their own private gardens and are tented with brick walls and canvas canopies. The more extravagant villas have private pools.
The exquisite spa is housed in an authentic Haveli, preserved in its original location, where you can enjoy a range of massages and holistic treatments to relax and unwind. The dining rooms offer a choice of pan-Indian specialities, western and oriental dishes.
Activities at the hotel include tennis, croquet and golf putting but there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Attractions nearby include the spectacular City Palace which was once the residence of the ruling family of Jaipur, the Hawa Mahal, the Amber Fort and the Jaigarh Fort built by Jaisingh II in 1726. Finally the Nahargarh stands guard over Jaipur, on a sheer rock face about 2km from the city centre, dominating the skyline.
