Best time to Visit
Good time to visit
Average time to visit
The dry season from June to September may be the best time to visit Arequipa. However, Arequipa enjoys over 300 days of sunny blue skies per year so you can visit and enjoy the many activities and sightseeing opportunities of the city and its surroundings all year long. Make sure to bring some warm clothes as the nights can be rather cold.
Every August 15th there is a city-wide party celebrating Arequipa´s founder, Garcí Manuel de Carbajal. It is a great time to see Arequipa and mingle with the locals.

Description
Set in the historic city of Arequipa in the south of Peru, Cirqa sits on the site of an ancient monastery dating back to 1540 and still retains many of its original features. Just one block from the main plaza, Cirqa enjoys a great central location.
Converted from a beautiful 16th Century building, this striking hotel is located just one block away from Arequipa's main square and boasts incredible views overlooking the cathedral and snow-capped volcano Misti. Cirqa is the perfect base from which to explore the city on foot, and is within easy reach of a number of restaurants, fascinating museums and the Santa Catalina monastery which is amongst the city's highlights.
The eleven comfortable rooms are centred around two patios which provide a lovely space in which to unwind, boasting seating, dining space, firepits and even a plunge pool in one. There is also a small spa on site where guests can indulge in a spoiling massage treatment. The rooftop has been converted into an organic garden and restaurant terrace.
The hotel design is true to its historic setting while reflecting modern touches, boasting high-vaulted ceilings, brick archways and beautiful wooden shutters alongside sparkling standalone bathtubs, wireless speakers, smart TVs and complimentary WiFi.
