Belmond La Residencia is a luxurious boutique hotel ideal for both couples and families, tucked away in the foothills of the Serra Tramuntana mountains on Mallorca's breathtaking north-west coast and walking distance to the idyllic village of Deia.
Belmond La Residencia's epicenter is a traditional finca with the rest of the resort cleverly laid out to create spacious accommodation close to the main hotel. The layout is over lots of different levels with nooks and crannies perfect for sunbathing and lounging, making this hillside retreat really special. The stunning village of Deia is just a short stroll from the hotel, where you can wander the peaceful streets and enjoy true relaxation sitting on the terraces enjoying the views. If you're feeling a little more active walk down to Cala Deia, a beautiful cove with its own shingle beach and clear waters, where there are two wonderful traditional restaurants serving seafood as their specialty.

Belmond La Residencia offers 73 rooms and suites and one private villa. All the accommodation is individually designed, each with its own unique character. Rooms are spacious with high beamed ceilings, junior suites feature a balcony, terrace or small private garden while the suites offer the luxury of a private plunge pool. The rooms and suites are adorned with local antiques and art work giving them a more traditional feel. The villa has three double bedrooms, a living area with open fire, fully equipped kitchen and dining room and a private heated swimming pool, perfect for larger families or groups of friends.
There are many interconnecting room and suite options making them the perfect option for families. Children under 12 can enjoy a complimentary bed when sharing a room with parents.
Choose from either a Classic, Double or Superior Double Room. The rooms are designed to complement the architecture of the old manor house and are furnished with elegant Mallorcan antiques, each room having its own unique style.
All rooms come with either King, Queen-size or twin beds, a large bathroom, beautiful views and are sized from 30 square meters. The Superior and Deluxe double rooms offer extra space with additional seating areas within the rooms, with many featuring four-poster beds.
The Junior Suites sized at 45 square meters offer either King or queen-size beds, marble bathrooms and cosy sitting areas. Many feature a balcony, terrace or small private gardens with panoramic vistas.
The Deluxe Suites offer spacious lounge areas with luxurious amenities such as a plasma screen and wet bar.They boast spacious terraces with spectacular views. All suites come with King-size beds, a marble bathroom, separate living area, gardens and terraces are sized from 100 square meters.
The two Exclusive Suites are located in the Son Fony building, offering views of both the village of Deià and the Tramuntana Mountains. These suites feature a lovely large terrace area with a private swimming pool, a separate lounge with luxurious furniture and fittings. The separate bedroom area is appointed with a king size four poster bed.
One of these suites has a wet bar and open fire place. Additional features include a dressing area and bathroom with separate WC and shower areas. Leading off from the lounge is a terrace with a private swimming pool, outdoor dining area and a covered pergola with seating area.
Belmond La Residencia’s Presidential Suite is ideal for privacy and relaxation, featuring beautiful views over the village of Deià and the Tramuntana Mountains. Located on top of the Son Fony building, this suite offers a very spacious lounge area with luxurious fittings in unique Mallorquin style. Also included are expansive private gardens, a large terrace with a private swimming pool and space for outdoor dining. A separate lounge with a sofa bed leads out onto the lovely large terrace area. The sumptuous bedroom has a super king size four poster bed and an adjoining marble bathroom.
The Villa is a luxurious former private residence, located a short walk from the hotel and overlooking the village of Deià. It is a deluxe self-catering accommodation offering stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Guests in the Villa are entitled to use the hotel’s facilities and services including the indoor and outdoor pools, restaurants, tennis courts, spa, Kids’ Club, complimentary boat excursion and seasonal shuttle service to the cove nearby, Cala Deià. Built on three levels, the Villa has three bedrooms - two with a queen bed and one with two twin beds - decorated in traditional Mallorcan style. It boasts a dining room, living room with open fireplace, a fully-equipped kitchen, barbecue, an outdoor terrace and heated private swimming pool with sea views. Also included are central heating and air conditioning, a personal safe, sofa, CD and DVD players, complimentary wireless Internet access, a stereo and widescreen TV.
Belmond La Residencia offers its own complimentary supervised children's club for ages 4 and up through the high season, from 10am to 6pm, which comes equipped with its own play room, and an array of activities. Your little ones can also enjoy pottery workshops with the resident sculptor, a range of cooking classes, tennis coaching or a tour of the local area with the hotels very own donkeys! You can be rest assured that your children will have a terrific time while you enjoy a well earned rest by the pool.
Children's menus are available in the restaurants but the chef is very open to adapting dishes to suite their tastes.

The award-winning El Olivo Restaurant has an elegant atmosphere and serves delicious Mediterranean and local dishes complemented by its extensive wine list. Café Miro is a bar and bistro serving lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. You can choose to sit alfresco during the summer months or cosy up by the log fires in the winter. The Pool Restaurant offers a range of locally-sourced Mediterranean specialties in the dappled shade beside the main swimming pool. Son Fony offers a daily Mediterranean buffet breakfast whilst spoiling you with views of the Tramuntana Mountains.
You can do as little or as much as you please at La Residencia and the surrounding area.
